San Francisco Today
San Francisco today has a population of about 7,468,390 occupying a space of only about 46.9 square miles. This density is what makes San Francisco one of the most metropolitan cities in the United States. San Francisco is largely known for its unique geographical features, diverse mix of architecture styles, and its famous landmarks, such as the Golden Gate Bridge. Bringing all of these features together into one complex city takes the work of master planners.
